MC-Card connectors are microminiature, 50-ohm impedance connectors with snap-on coupling and similar to MMCX in performance of frequency range of DC-6GHz. They are best suited for use with cables in the range of .070" to .120" diameter, such as RG-178 and RG-316/U, as well as metric miniature cables.
MC-Card connectors has small size and light weight with the convenience of snap-on mating and the ability to rotate connector pairs after mating for precise alignment. They are very durable, with a service life in excess of 5,000 matings. MC-Card connectors are an alternative to MMCX connectors in many wireless and telecom applications.
